2017年12月7日，首屆“南南人權(quán)論壇”在京開幕

　　國家主席習(xí)近平為此發(fā)來賀信，對論壇的舉辦表示熱烈的祝賀，強調(diào)全球人權(quán)事業(yè)發(fā)展離不開廣大發(fā)展中國家共同努力，希望國際社會本著公正、公平、開放、包容的精神，尊重并反映發(fā)展中國家人民的意愿，促進發(fā)展中國家人民享有更加充分的人權(quán)，實現(xiàn)全人類共同繁榮發(fā)展。他指出，　人人充分享有人權(quán)，是人類社會的偉大夢想。近代以來，發(fā)展中國家人民為爭取民族解放和國家獨立，獲得自由和平等，享有尊嚴(yán)和幸福，實現(xiàn)和平與發(fā)展，進行了長期斗爭和努力，為世界人權(quán)事業(yè)發(fā)展作出了重大貢獻。

　　中國共產(chǎn)黨和中國政府堅持以人民為中心的發(fā)展思想，始終把人民利益擺在至高無上的地位，把人民對美好生活的向往作為奮斗目標(biāo)，不斷提高尊重與保障中國人民各項基本權(quán)利的水平。前不久召開的中國共產(chǎn)黨第十九次全國代表大會描繪了中國發(fā)展的宏偉藍圖，必將有力推動中國人權(quán)事業(yè)發(fā)展，為人類進步事業(yè)作出新的更大的貢獻。
